When many overseas buyers are ordering OEM linear drainage channels, they often fail to understand which parameters can be adjusted and which ones are restricted by the mold and process and cannot be changed. Clearing this up in advance can prevent sample rework and delivery delays.
There are many items that can be modified conventionally. The length can be cut according to project requirements, and surface treatments can include polishing, painting, and electroplating; the grille pattern can be changed, LOGO engraving, and laser marking can all be achieved; the outlet position and interface direction can also be adjusted as needed. The packaging method and shipping mark printing are also customizable. These changes have low costs and short sample production cycles.
However, the core structural parameters brought by fixed molds are mostly not subject to arbitrary modification. The internal cavity width and overall height of the drainage channel base, as well as the wall thickness of the original mold, if modified, will require a new mold to be made, which is costly and has a long cycle. The fixed structure of the grille slots is generally not recommended for modification, as it will affect the load-bearing and installation compatibility. For some models, if the water outlet interface specifications are changed, it will involve matching issues with the accompanying pipe fittings, and the change restrictions are also relatively large.
